Louisville orthopedic Dr. Stacie Grossfeld is serving as an orthopedic doctor at the 2013 World Cyclocross Championships held in Louisville, Kentucky, January 29, 2013 through February 3, 2013.
This international cyclocross event, which includes professional athletes from all over the world, is taking place at Louisville’s Eva Bandman park in downtown Louisville along River Road. Louisville orthopedic surgeon Dr. Stacie Grossfeld is on hand to assist with any sports injuries and medical needs during this challenging cyclocross competition. Participants compete across a rigorous course that involves a mixed terrain including obstacles, mud, steep slopes, water and possibly snow and ice.
Dr. Grossfeld’s medical training includes a special fellowship in Sports Medicine from the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Center. She is also board certified in orthopedic surgery.
